My 10,000 gunite pool is in perfect condition except for some places with rust stains on the bottom where some steel, (maybe a staple, screw, etc.) got into the pool. Is there a way to get rid of the rust stain without draining and acid washing the pool?

Here's an idea That's worked for me. What I've done is to tie-wrap a 1/4" poly tube to my 4" SS brush, hook it up to my elcheapo garden sprayer, and treat ( acid wash) the spots. the idea is to get the acid to the stain.
