    Hi,

    Has anyone ever had to replace their sand filter tank only? I mean it is covered under the warranty, they sent me just the tank!!! So I need to take the old one completely apart and this one back together! How much time am I looking at with replacing sand, etc.? I have a Meteor brand 22" tank. Thanks Catherine

    There is not much inside a sand filter. The hardest part to me is removing the sand. Using a good wet/dry vac I would estimate 2-3 hours for a DIY person.
