I have a saratoga spa with a laing circulating pump that only lasts a year. I'm on my 4 th pump now. i use nature 2 and 1/4 oz of dichol twice a week. My hot tub is in the house and i drain the water every 2 months. These pumps should last more than a year. I tried laing support but they couldn't help me. I found this pump at grainger for $120. Any ideas what is wearing the bearing out in it? thx

Possible causes might be excessive heat, moisture or imbalance due to debris stuck in the impellor.

You could take the bad motor to a local motor rebuilder for an "estimate".  They may be able to tell you what is causing the failures.

Also, you may find that the bearings are replaceable in most pump motors.
