Our natural water contains iron, about 1 part per million, I believe. The metal tolerance for the AquaRite chlorinator is zero.
I notice that metal removers like Metal Out are often recommended to remove iron or metal "stains," but it is not clear that these products actually sequester the metal in a way that it is removed through the filtering system. Three questions.
1) Do these products do that: actually remove metal from the water?
2) Can the AquaRite or other chlorinators tolerate sequestered metals if they remain in the water?
3) Any recommendations on products that will act to remove metals with a zero tolerance chlorinator.
Thanks to anyone who can clarify this issue.
