    I have just bought a house and it has a small inground pool...

    I have just tested the water and I have a high High Free Chlorine/ Bromine level what should I do

    Also I have a high Stabilizer what should I do

    what is meant by total Hardness and how do you control that

    Any sugestions would be great thanks

    Kevin, we need to know more about your chemistry other than they are too high.  Exact figures: 5.0 ppm, 200 ppm stabilizer???

    If your CYA is below 100 you are still OK.  High chlor levels are probably within line if they are not in excess of 10.0 ppm.  Best general answer at this time.
