I have a liner that is about 12 years old. When I bought the house 2 years ago there were horizontal scratches above the waterline in about a 5 ft area. Now there are tears in this area that follow the scratches.
The rest of the pool looks fine and a new liner is about $3000 installed. Should I stick with an ugly patch or just go with a new liner. I also have a friend that makes vinyl signs and I could ask him to match the design so the patch isn't so ugly.
Any advise appreciated.
