I have a Sundance Spa, which has a drain valve that opens by pulling a handle out from the side. Anyway it seems to be stuck and I'm afraid that I'm going to break the handle before it opens.

Because its winter up here I've made the decision to not replace it yet but to leave well enough alone until we have warmer and dryer weather. So my question is this, is it easy to replace? Is it glued on?

Those types of valves sometimes have 4 bolts running through them, they should be obvious. Undo them when the spa is drained, disassemble and lube the gaskets inside. All should be well. No bolts? Needs replacing then if pulling harder does break it. A lot of times they free up tho.
