    I have just purchased a hot tub and have installed it covered outside deck. We live near Lake Placid with winter temps going down at time to 30-40 below 0 F. Am I stupid for thinking I'll be using my hot tub this winter, or should I just drain the system at the end of Nov? Thanks everyone.

    No, you're not stupid. I'm not sure about 30-40 BELOW, but it is wonderful using a 103-104 degree outdoor spa in 'cold' weather.
