    Two things. It is a little late to call this a Spring opening. You never told us what kind of a pool you have and the size. It could be indoor or outdoor, vinyl, fiberglass, plaster,above ground, in-ground, 6,000 gallon or up to 100,000. Rather than discuss all the possibilities which would probably take 10 pages of typing, I'll just give you an idea of how to start up an above ground pool of average backyard size. Also, you posted this in the Spa Room and you should probably have used the Above Ground or Inground conference.

    Here are some suggestions.

    SPRING "START-UP" OF ABOVE-GROUND POOLS


    If your pool has a cover, follow steps 1-4 below. If no cover, skip to step 5.

    1. Remove any standing water from the pool cover using a submersible pump or a siphon and clean off any debris that has accumulated over the winter.

    2. Remove the pool cover.

    3. Clean the cover thoroughly using a commercial vinyl cover cleaner or a similar cleaner produc
